Crossing the Meridian on the way, Route de Greenwich d'Ouzilly (the D44) runs from Sauzeau in the west to Ouzilly-Vignolles in the east. The Meridian’s presence is noted by this sign made up from of a sheet of colourless transparent material, which is mounted at the Sauzeau end. The images show first the sign and then the western end of the Route de Greenwich, followed by the eastern end.
