Sheffield Park Station is the southern terminus of the world famous steam railway, the Bluebell Line. Over the years, there have been a number of Meridian marks in different locations – not all of them on the actual Line. In about 2006, a new sign was erected at this location. The paintwork rapidly started to flake and within two years, the sign had been replaced by a similar one – but not quite in the same position. It has since been replaced again.
