One of three similar plaques located immediately to the north and south of Greenwich Park. This one and the one to its south, both face southwards and have east marked on the right and west on the left. The third mark, which is located on the other side of the house, faces northwards and has the east and west markings reversed.
The building on which the plaque is located, incorporates the only upstanding remains of Tudor Greenwich – one of the original conduit houses.
