The Meridian Lounge is located on the ground floor at the northern end of the InterContinental Hotel in Greenwich. The hotel sits between the Airy and WGS84 meridians and has west facing windows that look out towards the meridian sculpture on Ordnance Wharf during the day and the Meridian Laser at night. It was presumably the later that was the inspiration for the illuminated green line in the hotel. The hotel opened to paying guests on 19 December 2015. The photographs in the 2015 image set were taken just a few days later.
