One of several similar markings installed in 2015 in the Wood Street Ward of the London Borough of Waltham Forest in 2015. It was installed when the pavement was renewed and the original mark which was around four or five metres to the east was lost. The original marking was one of over 60 compass roses placed along the length of the Borough as part of the millennium celebrations.
