One of four similar markings in the parish of Standon. When at the time of the millennium, the roads crossed by the Meridian in East Hertfordshire were further marked by the planting of an oak tree, this location appears to have been omitted due to the unsuitability of the site. The cast iron plate was stolen from the granite block on which it was mounted at some point between 2012 and 2018. The marking was concealed by undergrowth when visited in 2012 and 2018.
