Erected in the playground for the Meridian’s ‘centenary’ on 26 June 1984, this off the peg garden sundial was missing its gnomon for many years. It is also became shaded by trees that were subsequently planted to its south. The sundial and trees were removed on 30 July 2008 to make way for a new building for Swavesey Pre-School. The building was delivered just two days later and opened the following day.
