Meridian Meats was founded in 1997 as a retail outlet in Louth for the Longhorn beef and Lamb that the owners were producing (and continue to produce) at their farm in Tetford which is crossed by the Greenwich Meridian and marked with a sign carrying the name Meridian Meats.
