Planted by Dr David Fussey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Greenwich, this tree was, in all probability, the last to be planted as part of the Millennium Tree Line (MTL) project. Although the accompanying press release stated that the tree was to have been marked with a ‘distinctive green Millennium Tree Line Disc’, it appears in practice to have never been so marked.
